This Palomino Puma travel trailer features a rear entertainment layout, dual slides opposite one another creating a wide open feel, and everything you need for a great time away from home.
Step inside model 31-RDKS and see how spacious the main living area is with both slides fully extended. There is a booth dinette and sofa slide to the left of the entry door. There is overhead cabinetry above the sofa and exterior storage in the slide-out below the dinette.
The rear wall features an full entertainment center with LCD TV, overhead cabinets, and storage on both sides and below.
Opposite the door side is a second slide-out sofa with pantry, refrigerator and three burner range. The kitchen also features an L-shaped counter with double sink and two bar stools. There is a microwave oven and plenty of overhead cabinets for storage as well.
Head toward the front of the unit and just passed the entry door is a side aisle bath with toilet, corner sink, 32" x 32" angled shower, and bath linen cabinet. There is also a large linen storage cabinet across the hall on the right.
Continue down the hall to the front bedroom with sliding pocket door. The bedroom features a queen size bed, nightstand and shirt closets on both sides, and an overhead cabinet for added storage.
You can add optional lounge chairs in place of the sofa next to the dinette. And, the front pass-through compartment and slide-out exterior storage provides ample space for all of your outdoor camping gear, and much much more!

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
