It will be so easy to convince the family to get away with you in this Puma Destination trailer! Because there is a private bedroom up front and a private bunkhouse in the middle of this trailer, everyone can have a comfortable place to call their own at the end of the night. And if you have any extra guests coming along with you, they can spend the night on the jackknife sofa or booth dinette. Opposing slides open up the rear living area which gives this space the ability to hold a kitchen island.
With residential furnishings and comfortable features, the Puma Destination trailers from Palomino RV are the best choice when it comes to leisure living! On the exterior, you will be happy to find reliable construction, like the powder-coated frames, the tinted safety glass, and the super lube axles. A 35,000 BTU furnace keeps the interior at just the right temperature when the leaves have started to fall off the trees, and if you've chosen to camp out in the heart of summer, you'll surely appreciate having a 13,500 BTU air conditioner to keep you cool. Keep the atmosphere light and cheerful whenever you get away with some happy music playing on the Bluetooth stereo!
We bought a Bullet RV and had issues with the Hot water heater on our first trip out. Mike in Service had even tried to help trouble shoot the issue so I would not have to drive the RV back. Unfortunately we were not able to fix it over the phone. Since we live 60 miles from the dealership, we needed to make sure we could get the repair done in one trip. We arranged for an early appointment and ... More » - Vince from Dresher, PA

As demand for the Palomino grew, Mr. Landey felt it would benefit his company, Vanguard Ind., to relocate. With most manufacturers and industry suppliers located in the Elkhart, In. area the move eastward seemed logical. Vanguard Industries settled in the community of Colon in 1972. Once in Colon he began to put his plans in motion. By 1973 he had built the main production facility and within days Palomino tent trailers were rolling out the doors.
In 1976, Vanguard added its own Needle Division, in 1978 its own Metal Fabrication Plant, and has several cold storage facilities. On May 27, 1992, the primary production building and offices were destroyed by fire. By late August, 1992, the first 1993 model Palomino rolled of the line in the new 52,300 sq. ft. facility, which was built on the same site as the previous building had been.
The year 1998 continued to see expansion with the addition of a new 75,000 sq. ft. production facility, and another storage facility. In 2002 Vanguard was purchased by Forest River, Inc. This allowed for rapid growth and the introduction of two new towable lines of travel trailers and fifth wheels, Puma and Sabre by Palomino.
